So here’s another good example of how mold hides, and if you don’t know where to look, it could be a shocker. Here’s the result of a roof leak overtime that the homeowner did not realize due to the heavy amount of insulation in the attic both blown in and batt. Water slowly penetrated through the closet walls and finally down into the dining room area
During our inspection, we backtracked the water all the way up into the attic and found the hole in the roof.

Here’s a good video when people ask this question. Why is it so expensive? Imagine you doing this in a suit and respirator in an attic it’s 130 to 140°, or in a crawlspace that’s only 18 inches to 2 foot high! Not a whole lot of fun

Nothing like working in attic when it’s 135° up there all because someone stuffed insulation into the soffits.
