Another before and after with this ficus tree. I've been taking care of this tree since the first time it was ever pruned in 2003. A great example of controlling the growth rather then trying to stop growth by topping which is never a good idea.

This is a before and after photos of a orchid tree in riverside California. This tree was severely top many years ago. I've been pruning this tree every year for the last eight years trying to rehab it to look natural. Never top your tree and if you do there is proper technics to reduce the size so it don't get out of balance per say and keep a natural look to the structure.
