This Monday work day just hit a little different as most know me and my boy had a pretty rough ride down hwy 21 last Friday afternoon. We were on our way to drop a load of rock off to some friends in Woden and the bolts holding the axles straight on our trailer sheered shifting the axles to the right sending the trailer that was Appx 30k pounds out towards the ditch. It served like a big anchor and drug the 15k pound truck we were driving to slam onto the passenger side and us sliding down the middle of hwy 21. Thankfully the good lord let this be another lesson instead of our last lesson. Me and my son walked away. I woke up today thinking of all the bs that now start’s dealing with insurance, wrecker bills, doctor bills, just all seasoning on the already road chapped behind. Then thought to myself well I had my 2 truck goal for a week anyway, as I’d just brought another truck to try to grow my company. But I quickly changed my view to dam I made it another week and I’m ready to go to work still. I appreciate all the calls and text. But I gotta give a special shout out to my buddy Jimmy Johnson for taking his whole Friday evening to kick it with me while I got stitched up and his whole Saturday to help me get a wet kit under this new truck and most of his day Sunday to help me get the airlines and dump switches right. Also a big thanks to James Green for dropping what he was doing and sorting out a pressure issue for me. It really was a blessing to know you got people that want to see you succeed and will drop what they are doing to get you back going. A lot took place between these two pictures but 3 days later we’re ready to go again.
