Kitchen demo finished, living room floor ripped out while the electrician worked in the kitchen yesterday, sheetrock going back up today. Still trying to shake the headache. Bob's been busy working at 2 other jobs so I am anointing myself . Job well done by Lonestar Floors in Navasota and Waller County Electric!

This house took a pretty hard hit during the freeze. Water flowed under all the cabinets and tile (there's a sheet of roll laminate under it) then out into the living / dining under the hardwood flooring. This was how we started yesterday (Wed 4/27). Will update when demo is done tomorrow.

Cathy's House
We built this one in 2017 and I still love its Texas Ranch attitude. We had such a good time working with this sweet couple. The house is 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, has an office and a workout room upstairs. The bookcases by the big stone fireplace match the kitchen cabinets and hands down my favorite back porch EVER!

Amazing skilled subs who did the hard work - Waller County Electric (electric & hvac), Kent Moore Cabinets, Narramore Glass, I'm not telling you who my painter is, Styers Concrete, Weatherford Doors (doors & trim) in Bryan, T & R Windows in Magnolia, Kos Construction (Mark designed the house and then framed it), Good News Roofing, Kenco Water Wells, and Meistad Plumbing in Houston.

This home was actually designed to house an art collection. Look at the 2nd picture for scale. Wall height is 14', ceiling height is 24'. See the fan? There are 2 of them that are 88" wide. A normal sized fan is somewhere around 54".

The master bath caused the most headaches for the homeowner. That's not a picture of fish, it's a fossil with 5 different kinds of fish and the bathroom was designed around it. We incorporated natural elements of rock on the shower floor with a little bit of contemporary - the concrete look tiles in the shower and amber colored glass.

The foyer has 2 of those spectacular chandeliers, I'm just not the best photographer. They were taken down from a townhouse in Houston and driven out here in a box truck to be rehung.

Notes on the bathroom tile attached to photos.

The hall is from the foyer to the bedroom. It's 5' wide, 10' tall, and about 40' long. There's one one each side of the house.

The empty looking room is the closet. It's going to be filled with moveable racks, which is pretty cool.

The picture of the mechanical area is just to give you an idea of the amount of lighting in this baby.

1/4 The Victor House
We just finished up a 4000 sq ft home in Waller County. This house pushed us to learn and grown and pay attention to detail at the most minute level. It took a long time to build but the homeowner and I (Beth) spent a crazy amount of time making selections. Most were roughly figured out before we broke ground.

The Kitchen: For scale, look at the 2nd picture. The little figure next to the window on the right is Bob, my 6' tall hubby. Ceiling ht is 24', width is 30', island is 16'long, about 70 linear feet of cabinets.

There are so many things you can't see in this - pop up electric plugs with built in USB, his & hers sinks & dishwashers, 2 little mini fridges that can also be wine storage, freezers, or veggie storage, 4 huge pull out cabinets, ice maker, a oven that doubles as an air fryer, and a hidden ice maker.
