Who else has seen one of these here in the Vegas Valley?
They are called Black Witch Moths. Dispite the concerning name, they aren't harmful to humans and are benefitial to plants. Because they fly so much, the repellent properties of pest control products don't work well on them, so you might catch one of these flying around your back porch even if you have someone spraying, especially at night. But that's alright. They are one of the good guys.
