A few friendly reminders for the upcoming winter spell!

Homeowners with Heat Pump systems:

Heat pump systems are equipped with an Emergency Heat setting (sometimes labeled Auxiliary Heat) that is designed to be used during below-freezing temperatures, when the heat pump alone may not be able to keep up and the outside unit isn’t defrosting properly!

Homeowners with Gas Furnaces:

Check your filters and make sure they’re clean! Dirty filters restrict airflow and prevent the furnace from breathing properly, which cause safety features to trip and shut the system down.

If you’re experiencing issues, unsure about your system settings, or find yourself without heat, don’t hesitate to give us a call—we’re happy to help schedule a service call and keep you warm! ❄️🔥
