Well... that escalated quickly. 🔥
5 miles in, after purchasing our very first company truck, the unexpected happened.
It caught fire!

Building a business overseas isn't always the smooth journey people see on social media. There are setbacks, unexpected challenges, and moments that make you question everything.

But if there's one thing we've learned over the years, it's this:
Challenges don't define your journey. How you respond to them does.
We were grateful everyone was safe, filed the insurance claim, and kept moving forward.

Because giving up was never part of the plan!

One of our very first purchases was this truck. It represented more than just a vehicle—it was the beginning of Rocksolid Roots. The first piece of equipment that would help us build beautiful outdoor spaces across Southern Nevada.

Rooted in experience. Built for what’s next.
Jaimy and Marcel bring more than 40 years of combined landscaping and ecological experience to Rocksolid Roots.

Starting in 2027, we’ll bring that knowledge to outdoor spaces across Las Vegas, Henderson, Pahrump, and North Las Vegas—combining thoughtful design, skilled installation, and a deep respect for the desert environment.

Before Rocksolid Roots, there were decades of creating landscapes in Europe.

This drone footage showcases our family's bee farm in the Netherlands, where more than 25 years of landscape design, craftsmanship, and passion have shaped every corner of the property.

Over the coming months, we'll be sharing more of the gardens Jaimy and Marcel created throughout Europe—projects that reflect the experience and attention to detail they are now bringing to the Las Vegas Valley.

Most people slow down with age. Marcel chose to start a new chapter!
