Hi! We are Chris and Stephanie Owens. We are very excited and thankful to announce that our new dream has come to fruition after literally thousands of hours of work and planning and especially with the Lord’s abundant wisdom and graciousness. We have launched our company, American Forever Homes LLC, and are a newly-licensed General Contractor and Custom Home Builder in the Nashville area! New HGTV husband-and-wife-duo show, anyone lol? 🏠🛠️

With Chris’ architecture background, we had a dream of him designing our house and us moving into a safer neighborhood in the Nashville area. The Lord provided an off-market lot right outside of Nashville, and instead of hiring a builder, we decided to build a house ourselves and do most of the interior finishing work to save as much as possible without having to sacrifice some of our bucket-list house goals. Chris was very strategic with the design, and we discovered a lot of ways to make things look great without having to spend a fortune. We learned SO much and worked SO hard, but we also had a ton of fun with the process. We moved into our new home several months back and are getting settled in with finishing touches. God truly opened so many doors and paved a way to make this possible, surpassing all our wildest hopes and expectations!

During our personal home building process, a passion grew to be able to help others build their own dream forever homes. Chris and I realized that we have a unique approach and set of skills to offer that differs from the current Nashville home-building market. This life isn’t about “stuff”, “materialism”, or having the nicest or biggest house, but we do believe that God calls us to work excellently, use the gifts and opportunities He has given us, be faithful stewards, and do all things as unto the Lord.
