From Water Damage to a Fresh New Kitchen



This kitchen had served its family well, but years of use—and a leaking sink—had taken their toll. Water damage to the lower cabinets made it the perfect time for a thoughtful refresh rather than simply another repair.

A busy month since the demolition started. As the transformation takes shape, the details start to tell the story:

🔥 A refined fireplace replaces the oversized wood-burning surround with a clean, streamlined design featuring gas logs, a lowered hearth at floor level, elegant tile, and simple trim details that seamlessly blend into the new living space.
👔 A custom-designed primary closet with beautifully crafted cabinetry, designed by the interior designer and built by a custom cabinet shop, creating an organized space tailored to the homeowners' lifestyle.
🚿 A future-ready primary shower features large-format porcelain slabs to minimize grout lines, a matching floating bench, and a curbless entry designed for both modern aesthetics and aging-in-place accessibility.

Following up from planning post. Every beautiful remodel begins with a little chaos.

The transformation begins with the original entryway and the former access to the bathroom and bedroom. This area will soon become a comfortable sitting room, while the doors on the left will serve as the new entrance to the ensuite. Next is the fireplace before demolition. With all personal belongings removed, you can clearly see the oversized raised hearth that is about to be eliminated. Replacing it with a modern, flush floor design will dramatically improve the room's appearance, flow, and functionality.

Day one of demolition is underway! The fireplace surround, raised hearth, and dated parquet flooring are all being removed to make way for a fresh, updated living space.

✨ Great remodeling isn't just about new finishes—it's about reimagining how a home lives, feels, and functions.

It's been a little quiet on our social channels. We are getting more active with our social posts starting with this project we're excited to share. It is a main-level remodel designed with aging-in-place living in mind. Rather than waiting until accessibility becomes a necessity, these homeowners chose to plan ahead and create a comfortable, functional living suite that will serve them well for years to come.
