Good tile work is in the details.
This custom kitchen backsplash in the Fletcher, NC area is a good example of the things you may not notice at first—but that make a big difference in the finished project.
For this kitchen and bar backsplash, we took the extra time to:
• 45° miter the outside tile corners instead of using metal edge trim
• Color-match the epoxy used to finish those corners
• Polish cut tile edges for a clean finish without visible chips
• Hand-place tiny pieces in the decorative tile above the stove when they wouldn't stay properly positioned on the sheets
• Carefully plan the layout for clean, even lines
• Protect the countertops and floors while we worked
Could some of it have been done faster? Sure.
But when you're investing in a kitchen remodel, the details you see up close should look just as good as the room does from across the kitchen.
The beautiful custom cabinetry was installed by Heritage Kitchens, and Greer Design completed the tile backsplash.
