It’s spring. Time for new beginnings. Time for family gatherings, outdoor events and sharing all that God has placed on this Earth for us to enjoy.

Is your well water safe for that new grandbaby to drink? Or what about those new grandparents you inherited with that new spouse? Their immune systems aren’t as strong as those of us that can play in the mud and not get sick.

Get out there and enjoy the beauty that surrounds us. Remember the view you see was only put there for you. No one else. It’s like a snowflake. It’s hard to believe a year has past since western NC was hit with such devastating floods. What a wonderful experience to be part of a sharing community. Now Appalachia in Kentucky is experiencing much the same hardships but in a wider area.

Those of you who were impacted with your drinking water wells should consider having your wells rechecked to ensure your water remained safe for consumption.

Anyone who has experienced flooding around your water source should consider testing as well. Here at James and James we stand ready to help you with whatever need you may have. If you don’t live near us, reach out to your local water department and they can point you in the right direction.

Now would be a good time to assess the last time you had your septic pumped or your water tested. An ounce of prevention will save a lot of stress during an already busy time.

Good morning

What a week we’ve had. Fred caused great devastation in parts of our beautiful area. If you believe your water supply was compromised please get it tested for Total coliform and e-coli. Tainted water can kill those with autoimmune diseases and weakened immune systems. It’s nothing to play around with. There are many laboratories in Western North Carolina including ours in Mountain Home. We offer collection and chlorination options as well.
