For National Safety Month, let’s audit that hidden chemical graveyard. Those expired, mystery bottles aren't just taking up space—they’re a leak, a toxic fume event, or a major liability waiting to happen.

Before a well-meaning employee accidentally mixes the wrong two liquids and creates a mini hazmat situation, take ten minutes to clear out the relics. Just promise us you won't dump them down the drain or toss them in the standard dumpster (your plumbing and the local water supply will thank you). Check your local county website for hazardous waste drop-off days and get them off your property for good.

A clean closet means one less liability on your plate. Safe property, happy tenants!

Meet Pete Crowe: The Guy You Want in a Crisis 🛠️

When your business is underwater or damaged by fire, you need a steady hand. That’s Pete Crowe.

Pete is our "measure twice, cut once" expert. Whether he’s precision-drilling concrete or handling a complex demolition, he treats everybusiness like his own. But what really makes Pete a powerhouse is his attitude. He’s a natural mentor to our younger crew members and has a knack for using humor to keep things light when a project gets tough.

When he's not working hard, he enjoys spending time with his family, going to the beach or using his season tickets to the Flying Squirels. If there’s a game at CarMax Park, Pete’s probably in the stands.

⛳️ We had the absolute best time out at The Federal Club last month for the 42nd Annual Innsbrook Classic as a raffle prize sponsor!

We are happy to support a cause as wonderful as St. Joseph's Villa (Richmond, VA) . St. Joseph's Villa has been serving local families 24/7 since 1834. This tournament helps over 3,000 kids and families every year, which made every swing (and miss) totally worth it.

We had the whole squad out there making things happen! While Chuck Cashion, Scott Boone, and Blaine Van Swol tackled the course and repped RVA Contracting on the greens, Elizabeth Myers and Jayne McClean were the unsung heroes helping get everything set up. Plus, Darci Cashion held down the fort and held court at our booth all day.

We take pride in not only rebuilding businesses when life happens, but also rebuilding families and our community. 🏌️‍♂️🎉

Happy Birthday to our Superintendent, Scott Boone! 🎂

If you’ve been on an RVA Contracting jobsite lately, you’ve probably met Scott—the guy with the "do it right the first time" attitude and the energy to match.

When he’s not keeping our commercial projects running like clockwork, Scott is a man of constant motion. Whether training in martial arts, hitting the gym, or pushing his limits on a mountain bike, he doesn’t really do "slow." But he also knows how to gear down and enjoy the local scenery, usually while hiking the trails at Pocahontas State Park with his family and their dogs.

Scott, we hope you take a well-deserved break from the blueprints and the subcontractors today to celebrate. We’re lucky to have your leadership and your energy on the team.

Ceilings: Generally better when they stay above your head. 👆

Nothing ends a morning meeting faster than the ceiling deciding it wants to be the floor. It’s one of those “is this actually happening?” moments that can stall a business for days.

When this office building had a sudden cave-in, we didn't just see a repair job—we saw a team that just wanted their workspace back. We jumped in to clear the chaos, repair the damage, and get everything back where it belongs.

We’re big fans of keeping the "overhead", well, "overhead". Glad we could help this crew get back to work (without needing hard hats).
