Team Tuesday: Meet Meg Bugbee! 👋

Meg began her career as an architect before making the transition into heavy highway construction as a Field Engineer with Rifenburg. Today, she supports our I-81 projects through quantity takeoffs, Bluebeam figures and graphics, subcontract writing, and field measurements.

Her ability to stay one step ahead helps our project teams maintain efficiency, minimize disruptions, and keep operations moving forward. 💪

When she’s not on the job, you can find Meg playing soccer, wake surfing, hiking, or spending time with her bulldog, Mamas! 🐾

Thanks for all you do, Meg! We’re proud to have you on the team!

👷‍♀️ Team Tuesday: Meet Emily Greene!

Emily joined Rifenburg after graduating from Clarkson University with a degree in Engineering & Management and concentrations in Project and Construction Management.

"I came to Rifenburg because of the people and the culture. There’s a real family feel here, and everybody genuinely supports one another."

As a Project Engineer, Emily supports projects both in the office and the field, working on QA/QC, material tracking, resource management, and more. She enjoys the opportunity to learn from our superintendents and project managers while gaining experience across a variety of major civil projects.

We're proud to have Emily on the team! 👷‍♀️🏗️

🚧 Trench Safety Day at Capital Region BOCES

Thank you to Capital Region BOCES for welcoming Rifenburg to the Trench Safety Day event at the Schoharie Campus!

We were proud to have our very own RCC's Austin DiSiena providing trench safety training, sharing industry expertise, and offering advice to students interested in pursuing careers in the skilled trades. It was equally exciting to have members of our Rifenburg Construction team in attendance as new team members, learning more about various aspects of trench safety and gaining valuable industry knowledge.

Seeing both our RCC team educating the next generation and our Rifenburg Construction team continuing their professional development made for an awesome experience that showcased the full circle of learning, growth, and mentorship within the Rifenburg teams.
