Along with the work at the school, DPC recently completed exterior site improvements at the Armory. DPC is once again thankful for the amazing fall we have been gifted with to be able to have a very successful/rewarding fall. This week our concrete operations officially came to an end for 2024. Next week DPC is shutting down all operations to allow all staff members time to catch their breath and enjoy the holiday week after a very busy fall. We look forward to returning from the holiday break and making great progress on our next assignments.

A beautiful fall allowed DPC to implement site improvements at the south side of the school along 3rd Ave S. where we replaced over 300 ft of curb & gutter and sidewalk, along with constructing a new 140ft long retaining wall between the entry door to the pool and the main entry door to the school. We have one more concrete pour close to the main entry to the school on Monday to round things out for the year.

The waiting is the hardest part. DPC placed the decorative stamped concrete yesterday for the large pathway into the Armory. Due to the weather today we weren't able to apply the antiquing agent and sealant to allow for the pathway to be re-opened. The weekend looks to give us great weather to allow us to do our thing to allow for the Armory to be open as usual Monday morning. A few photos have been included of the sidewalk installed last week that shows the final sealed finish that the main pathway will look like.

DPC completed the final colored/stamped section of the HPS Pool Courtyard today. The rain this afternoon forced us to cover up the last colored pour. But we will be back tomorrow to sawcut the last colored pour and get it ready for the antiquing and sealing process.
