Since so many of our homes have had power and water issues over the past few days, I imagine several of us will have storm related flooding issues to our homes (once we begin to have consistent non-freezing temps, reliable heat, and consistent water pressure).
We at Servpro of Greater Waco franchise just wanted to shed some light on the process ahead of those that might have issues needing restoration services.
Every restoration company in town (and across Texas) hit their capacity Wednesday, we've had our crews working non-stop since then. So now, unfortunately you should expect to be placed on to a wait list. The SERVPRO franchise network will be bringing in hundreds of extra crews from across the nation to help those of us that are impacted, they will begin to arrive once the roads become safely passable. In reality most of us will have to wait several days, if not up to a week, before a restoration company will be available to be onsite.

Feel free to call our office at 254-224-5999 if you have questions or if you experience any loss at your home, we can at least get you placed in to the national SERVPRO queue.

If you do experience a loss, try your best to remove any standing water to prevent any further possible damage to your home that could be caused while you are forced to wait. Your insurance carrier will understand the delays; unfortunately this is not a new process to them.
