🍂🌿 FALL IS COMING… APPARENTLY MOTHER NATURE JUST HASN’T CHECKED THE CALENDAR YET! 😂
Normally by this point in September, JD’s Landscapes LLC is already gearing up for one of our busiest times of the year—plugging and seeding lawns, scheduling fall trimming, freshening up mulch beds and preparing for leaf season.
This year? It still feels like somebody forgot to turn summer off. ☀️🥵
So instead of forcing our normal fall schedule just because the calendar says September, we’re watching the conditions and letting Mother Nature tell us when it’s time.
🌱 Fall Lawn Renovation — Core Aeration, Overseeding, Starter Fertilizer & Lime
We’re scheduling NOW and will begin when conditions are right. Our goal isn’t simply to get seed on the ground because the calendar says it’s time—we want to give your lawn the best opportunity to germinate, establish and come back looking great.
🌿 Fall Shrub & Hedge Trimming
Get those shrubs and hedges cleaned up, shaped up and looking sharp heading into winter.
🏡 Fall Mulch Installation
Fresh mulch is one of the easiest ways to completely refresh your landscaping and clean up those beds heading into fall and winter.
🍂🍃 Leaf Blowing & Fall Leaf Cleanups
Because unfortunately, somebody has to deal with them… and we’d rather it be us than you! 😂 We can blow and consolidate leaves to wooded areas on the property or move them curbside for municipal pickup where available.
🌳 Fall Property Cleanups
Landscape beds, fallen limbs, debris and all those odds and ends around the property that need attention before winter arrives.
❄️ AND THIS YEAR, WE’RE ALREADY KEEPING A CLOSE EYE ON WINTER… 👀
Early long-range outlooks are showing the potential for a wetter, more active winter-weather pattern. That certainly doesn’t guarantee big snowstorms, but it could give our area more opportunities for snow, freezing rain and ice when cold air and moisture come together.
That’s why we’re encouraging customers to think about winter preparation BEFORE the forecast says snow!

Once winter weather actually shows up in the forecast, the phone starts ringing! Getting on our winter service list early allows us to plan routes, prepare equipment and have materials ready before the first flake—or drop of freezing rain—hits the ground.
And if Mother Nature gives us another easy winter?
We’ll gladly keep the plow parked! 😂🤞
