And I figured some of you are too. So I made us a lovely forewarning to anyone trying to socialize/work/live with us while we reintegrate with the world. Long Hauler-ness has set my pace for me lately, so it’s taking me longer than normal to add new designs and pieces. BUT they are coming. A still frame for my fellow elder millennials and beyond.

Still prepping some fresh watercolors for the walls at in September. And stepping into cozier color palettes and themes for the hopeful temp drop and return to layers and hot bevs and not sweating through our clothes anymore. Call it basic, but this lady likes being able to breathe when she’s outside ✌🏻🍂✌🏻

These newbies and some prints of prior to works will be headed that way next week.

Welp. My arts council exhibition has once again been cancelled due to the number of Covid cases in our area.

If you need me, I’ll be screaming into a pillow for the foreseeable future. K thanks.

In progress 🌸

I read recently that we’ll be seeing a lot of natural and organic themes from creators in the near future. That contemporary artists will tend toward subjects from nature to convey our thoughts for the next few years. Because the world has been so tumultuous, because we’ve been spending lots more time looking outdoors with less on our plate, because we feel that some of this beauty is fleeting and needs to be captured before it all melts…anyways…

It felt strange to see my own patterns being predicted so early. But it made total sense.

I’m still mending my hands, and my brain has been choosing forgiving flowers and plants, loose waterscapes, organic line work. Less density, more air and more space. Breathing room.

You folx finding peace/answers/oxygen in nature too?
