Repaired a 5 gas burner thermadore cooktop! Both the simmer burners out!
The potentiometers and simmer control were No longer available!
I found a simmer control in my old stock and 1 simmer potentiometer same shaft size but different mounting bracket. The rear potentiometer was burned up so I took the back off it and put it on the one I had. I installed the simmer control. Left the original potentiometer on the center front simmer burner valve and put the potentiometer I put the old bracket on to the rear center simmer valve and Wallah both burners worked like the a charm! Happy Happy customers. They said I had Perseverance and that’s what it took to go back several times to their home and the warehouse in search of the right parts and give me time to think the repair through to the final solution!

I called Thomas today to explain that his check did not clear and I looked for an explanation! He genuinely seemed perplexed! He said he was looking into it and wanted to come by with cash to settle up because things like this do not happen!? Thomas came by with more than I said was owed, he said that was for my trouble! He just got new checks and they printed an old account number on the new checks, he was not happy!
Folks I have always preferred checks from day one but take other forms of payment and through all the years this occurrence happened only a couple times! If we were asked to give this region of North Carolina a name I would call it “INTEGRITY”! That’s what Thomas has and most all of our customers that we have been fortunate to be of service! “Thank you, thank you very much”

Well, Shawn And I were on our way to a 2 man call this morning and we always call ahead. When the customer answered, she said do not come by, her son tested positive, better after the first of January, another close call!
That’s the second in as many months.
Call me nyeve but The lord looks out for us if we look out for others!

What’s on my mind?? Had a close call with the COVID last week! Literally 5 minutes from my next customers home and she was thoughtful enough to call to tell me she just got a call and tested positive! I have stayed in touch and she seems to be doing ok so far, no bad reactions!! God Bless!!
Had a second one emailed me to set an appointment. Called the next day to schedule and she also said she hasn’t been feeling good so decided to get tested, let me know when the results come back, have not heard a word?? This has me thinking, am I pressing my luck?.🍀🍀

Shawn Johnson, not feeling the best, had to take off for 2 days! So it was my responsibility to call everyone to reschedule and inform them we may not be able to get to there appliance needs till Saturday or early next week. I was ready for the worst but to my pleasure and amazement only one departed to look elsewhere for quicker service. Fact of the matter is the customers were understanding and concerned for Shawns well being wishing him a fast recovery.
Our customers genuine feelings of concern for Shawn has shown me that we have the absolute best, most loyal, humane individuals one could ask to be associated with on a personal or business level. I am humbled by your true Nature,especially during the current behavior that so many others have sadly displayed across our great Country!
I can only say Thank You from the depths of my heart. Shawn and I are At Your Service for the duration folks for however long that may be!!!

Taking a moment to reflect on the situation WE all find ourselves in today. THE main purpose of quarantine is to limit PEOPLE from spreading this virus any farther, faster then possible! Our citizens have taken a unified STAND and TOGETHER will defeat this invisible foe!!
AT YOUR SERVICE, Being labeled an Essential business, repairing Refrigerators so to keep food from Spoilage and certain medicines that need to be kept cool! Washers and Dryers working so clothes can be washed daily. Dishwashers kept up so to help sterilize dishes, pots, pans and utensils, used by everyone during their time of quarantine! Ranges, ovens and cooktops used in preparing the food we eat during this time of seclusion. Each and everyone of you together with small, medium and large companies are doing our best to make sure the eventual outcome is a unified success!
