This is what happens when a water heater or water heaters are not piped correctly with a hot water recirculating pump loop and not allowing proper circulation of the water at the bottom of the heater causing this gel sludge. We ended up replacing both water heaters and re-piping water lines for correct circulation.These are the water heaters we installed with correct water piping and pump location to allow for optimum balanced water circulation.
