A few things to consider when hiring a tree service.
I appreciate everyone who gave us the opportunity when we first started out. We were able to do things a lot cheaper back then, and I wanted to explain some of that.
Workers' compensation insurance is one of our expenses that is most often overlooked by the customer when choosing a tree service. The injury and fatality rates of this industry are ranked number one. As a result, workers' compensation is not an easy coverage to get, and it's even harder to retain. This should be your number one question to ask when interviewing companies to work on your property. Anyone can start an LLC and obtain liability insurance. However, there are only a select few that are properly insured with employees on a payroll and workers' compensation coverage.
If someone is hurt on your property and not properly insured, the responsibility would likely fall on you.
The equipment required to do this type of work is extremely expensive to attain and equally as expensive to maintain. I cannot stress enough the risk of injury while performing these tasks without the proper equipment. It will create lifelong injuries and pain.
Team members: We are always on-site with our team. We take pride in having the very best tree care professionals in the industry. It is important to us that these individuals are well-seasoned and properly outfitted with the best PPE, tools, and knowledge to perform their daily tasks. Our goal is to provide a safe and healthy work environment that these Men can be proud to be a part of. We do our best to provide top pay and benefits. This is a big expense, but it's well worth the investment.
Throughout the years, we have both grown and made cuts to create a very cost-effective yet extremely capable small, family-owned and operated business. We do our best to stay competitive, and we want you to understand some of the benefits of having us on your property that you may not be receiving when getting a “better” price.
Sincerely,
Bucket List Tree Care
