FROM TWO SMALL DOORWAYS TO ONE INCREDIBLE OPEN SPACE!

What a transformation on this condo project!

Today we're down to our FINAL inspection, and I couldn't be happier with how this one came together.

We completely transformed this home. Removed walls, installed a massive structural beam, opened up the kitchen, installed beautiful hardwood floors, custom cabinetry, a butcher block island, quartz countertops, upgraded bathrooms, custom accent walls, lighting, electrical and so much more.

But the biggest transformation isn't just how it looks. It's how this home now FUNCTIONS.

This project definitely tested everyone's patience. Township delays, inspection hurdles, cabinets taking forever. You name it.

But our homeowners stuck with us, trusted the process, and made some incredible selections along the way.

And seeing everything finally come together makes it all worth it.

You know you're doing a serious bathroom renovation when the plumbers, carpenters, electricians, and the boss with the annoying camera all have to get involved.

Sea Bright is coming along!

We're completely transforming this space from the inside out.

Custom shower, soaking tub, double vanity, and plenty of surprises behind the walls.

And Matthew? He's just here trying to make it through another episode of Char-Ron TV.

This is what “open concept” actually takes.

Today we’re finishing up a 22+ foot structural beam spanning the living room, dining room and kitchen.

FOUR massive LVLs tied together, heavy PSL point loads, new bearing points and even a new footing below to carry everything safely down through the structure.

A lot goes into removing a wall the right way.

Once these final posts are locked in, the temporary supports come out and this entire space opens up.

This is the part of construction people usually never see.

This nor’easter brought high winds, flooding, power outages, and water into vulnerable areas throughout Monmouth and Ocean Counties.

The damage that gets expensive is often the damage people do not see immediately.
Water behind siding.

A small roof pe*******on.

Moisture inside a crawl space.

Drainage pushing water toward the foundation.

Flashing that held for years and finally failed.

We live here. We build here. We own properties here. We have been through these storms personally, and we understand what Jersey Shore homes are exposed to.

The paint job starts LONG before the paint goes on.

I stopped by one of our renovation projects today and had to give Walter’s Custom Painting some credit.

To the naked eye, these walls looked good.

Then the high-powered lights came out.

Nail pops. Tiny imperfections. Corners. Small defects most people would never even notice.

There had to be 100+ little areas marked, repaired and prepped before they even think about painting.

THAT is the difference.

Anybody can put paint on a wall.

The final product comes down to the prep nobody sees.

This is the level of detail we want from the people working alongside Char-Ron.

The renovation starts BEFORE we ever swing a hammer.

When we walk into a finished home with marble, hardwood, custom railings and existing finishes, our first job is protecting what’s already there.

Floors covered edge to edge.
Stairs protected.
Railings wrapped.
Carpet covered.
Dust barriers installed.
Paths planned.

Construction is messy. Dust is inevitable.
