Making a lot of moving parts flow this week! Back in southern Ozark adding a little hillside retention to this airplane hangar project. These 3200lb blocks should do the trick!

Electricity had to come from 650’ away so we knocked that out as well. Nothing like digging 4’ of Missouri dirt in a drought. The wall gets backfill tomorrow and then on to phase 2. Driveway prep and drainage!

Some rough grade completed on a new house, a couple water line repairs at the Allen/Highley Farm, and a little TLC for an existing driveway in Rogersville. All in a few days work!

Back to the firehouse for a couple days and then onto another big project in Ozark to help finish up an airplane hangar. Come on Fall!

While 25 years seems like a long time, it also seems like yesterday. While some have forgotten, we won’t forget the 343 firefighters, 70 law enforcement officers, and 8 EMTs lost while saving thousands.

I’ll never forget sitting in 6th grade science and getting the TV on it time to watch the second plane hit the WTC. The heaviness of that day is a feeling you don’t have often in life. What was more remarkable than the heroics and terror of 9/11 was the patriotism and resolve of 9/12. If we could get back to that place, we’d be a lot better off. Take some time today to remember. Look up a story of heroism from someone who lived it or educate someone who wasn’t alive for it. Most all, never forget so we don’t relive it.

It was hammer down after a nice Labor Day break. We worked on a beautiful Webster County hillside in the heat to get a couple bin block retaining walls in this week.

This property owner is prepping to sell and wanted to make the most of the few flat spaces around this house. We had our work cut out for us between the slopes, shelf rock, and dry conditions. Thanks to Hilltop Excavating and Trucking for bringing the blocks and some backup iron to get this done!

From an overgrown forest of cedars, vines, and underbrush you couldn’t walk through, to a road wide enough to drive large trucks down, we have the clearing complete!

We brought in a little bigger iron to speed the process and push the dust around. Now we wait for a rain to provide some settling before we lay some base rock. If anyone is interested in just under 7 acres just south of Highlandville with a sweet new driveway, let me know!

There’s a lot of adapt and overcome during the busy season. Both machines were tied up on a land-clearing and road project that started this week. Then a trenching job came up with a tight deadline, so we added a few hours to the workday and made it happen.

We pulled the excavator off the road job yesterday evening, and by 10 AM this morning, we had trenches in the ground for water, propane, and electric. 💧🔥⚡

Now it’s back to the road project—pushing trees and moving dust piles!

It’s been pedal down between the rain the last month! Here are just a few of the projects going on. Keep it coming!

✅We finished up the 130 yard concrete driveway project with Loula’s Concrete and it looked awesome!

🏠 We got a house foudation dug out in Highlandville and just came back to backfill and prep for garage and porch concrete.

🌧️ Now we are back in Ozark correcting some drainage issues, replacing a propane line, building a retaining wall, and taking out a tree or two.

Happy Independence Day! We are thankful every day to live in the greatest country in the world where we live free, make our own choices, and have the opportunity to create a business to thrive with hard work!
