A candid and vulnerable moment. 🤍

We know this isn’t our normal happy, flower filled post, but this is real life on a flower farm.

Watching so much of something you’ve poured your heart, time, and energy into get damaged is heartbreaking. We are genuinely devastated.

But we also know this too shall pass. We may be down right now, but we know that next week will probably look different. The field will start to recover (hopefully) and we’ll keep moving forward.

For now, we’re letting ourselves be sad about it. 🌱🤍

Everything was looking so beautiful just last week.

Then Columbus got a TON of rain in a very short period of time, along with wind gusts reaching up to 80 mph. The standing water has thankfully receded, but most of the field is now drooping, fallen over, and looking pretty sad.

The good news? We’re still hopeful that most of it will recover. Flowers are surprisingly resilient, and we’re going to give them some time before we count anything out.

For now… excuse us while we proceed to completely crash out. 😅

And then we’ll get back up, keep going, and remind ourselves that life goes on. 🌱
