The project's initial scope included tile removal, but it became apparent that the underlying chipboard had deteriorated significantly due to prolonged exposure to moisture and pets. In response, we elected to install new subflooring to provide a stable base. The Schluter-DITRA system was then applied, followed by the new tile installation. This comprehensive approach guarantees the room's durability and visual appeal for the foreseeable future. The result is a truly beautiful room.

Aside from the pain on the walls and the sink fixtures, this project is complete. I absolutely love the blue-gray tile and the classic looks that tie well into the rest of the old home.

Some days owning your own business is rewarding. And then some days 🤢☠️... you make mistakes that cost you 🤑. But we resolve to do the right thing.
The customers had gotten the tub that I had been working on installing when I dropped the shower valve on the corner and caused this large chunk to flake off. So we pulled it out, got a new one, and moved on.
