Our NessCampbell crew recently set a 715,000 lbs transformer using our jack and slide system, a method that takes patience, precision, and a whole lot of teamwork. Unlike a traditional crane pick, jack and slide move heavy equipment just inches at a time, giving crews incredible control during the setting process.
It’s one of those jobs where every movement matters, and watching a load this size glide into place never gets old. Big thanks to the crew that made it happen safely and smoothly.

There’s nothing better than seeing kids and families get hands-on experience around the equipment that helps build our communities. Watching the next generation climb into our 60-ton boom truck and learn from skilled operators is what it’s all about.

Working in tight spaces takes planning, precision, and the right team.
NessCampbell Crane + Rigging recently teamed up with Local 29 Ironworkers and Local 49 Roofers on a project in SW Portland using our 210-ton Link-Belt ATC-3210 all-terrain crane. From setup to final pick, everyone on-site stayed focused on what matters most, safety first. Through teamwork, communication, and experience, the job was completed safely and on time.
