Licensed Architect and/or Experienced Draftsman

Architect Michael L. Oxman & Associates is seeking to hire a talented Licensed Architect and/or experienced Draftsman for a full-time position in Hillsboro, VA. Our firm specializes in the design of luxury, custom, residential homes located in the Caribbean (USVI) and along the East Coast.

The successful candidate must be able to execute complex designs and demonstrate the ability to manage multiple project types in various stages.

Roles and responsibilities include:
• Interpret, organize, plan, develop & execute complex project designs
• Produce complete & accurate working drawings for various phases
• Manage multiple projects from beginning to end
• Coordinate with project team, clients & consultants
• Produce budgets & task lists

Qualifications and Skills desired:
• Current Architectural License (preferred)
• Accredited Bachelor’s degree of Architecture (preferred)
• Minimum of five (5) years relevant architecture/design experience
• Proficient in AutoCAD 2020, REVIT and Microsoft Office
• Possess technical / drafting expertise
• Fluent in Building Code Analysis (IRC & IBC)
• Ability to work independently & with a team
• Strong communication skills
• Takes initiative

We offer a competitive salary with opportunities for flex scheduling. Salary is negotiable & will be based upon experience and qualifications.
