Earlier this month, our team spent time with students at By The Hand Club For Kids’ Cabrini-Green site, leading a hands-on activity to build birdhouses with solar lighting.

From carpentry fundamentals to basic electrical work, it was an exciting way to introduce students to the construction trades and spark interest in future careers.

Another exciting milestone in our 25-year partnership with Timothy Christian Schools as we broke ground on a new campus addition supporting their Stack the WAC initiative.

The 15,000-sf phased addition will include classrooms, an AI & STEM center, and additional learning spaces designed to support the next generation of students.

With construction kicking off this summer, we’re grateful for the opportunity to help build spaces that advance Timothy’s mission and serve their community, and for the continued trust along the way.

To kick off Cboe’s new Customer Experience Center project, the Executive Construction team was invited to The Floor at the historic Chicago Board of Trade Building. After years of vision, partnership, and complex transformation, The Haven on Lincoln marked a major milestone last week with a ribbon cutting ceremony we were proud to help celebrate alongside Mayor Brandon Johnson, city officials, and the community.

This project reimagined the former Diplomat Motel through a comprehensive structural renovation into a 15,000‑sf center providing dignified transitional housing in Logan Square. The Haven will offer more than 35 private sleeping units, essential residential amenities, and a wellness garden designed to foster connection and healing.

We’re grateful to have played a role in a project that demonstrates how redevelopment, when rooted in purpose, can create lasting community impact. Cornerstone Community Outreach will operate the facility and provide trauma‑informed health and social services to support residents moving forward. Yesterday, as part of our Construction Safety Week tradition, we held Safety Stand-Downs on jobsites across the country, where our Principals joined teams and trade partners to recognize the commitment it takes to make safety part of every decision onsite, every day.

During the , we had real conversations with crews about what it means to stay focused, speak up, and look out for one another.

This year’s theme, All in Together: Recognize. Respond. Respect., serves as a reminder that safety isn’t a statistic or a box to check. It’s a responsibility we all carry together through preparation, accountability, and care for the people beside us.
