Our summer interns had a fantastic opportunity this week as they assisted Tim Drake with his presentation at the USCB Hilton Head Island campus. The topic, “Tropical and Heat-Loving Plants,” provided valuable insights into selecting and caring for plants that thrive in our Lowcountry climate.

We love to provide hands-on learning experiences like these to help cultivate the next generation of landscape professionals.

Our Charleston team recently partnered with Simmons Irrigation Supply for a hands-on irrigation training session focused on both conventional and 2-wire irrigation systems. Team members from our floral division, irrigation department, and production management team expanded their knowledge of irrigation controllers, sprinkler heads, troubleshooting techniques, and identifying and repairing system breaks.

It was a valuable morning of learning that provided practical skills to help us continue delivering reliable, high-quality service for our clients and communities.

We love to recognize our team members who go above and beyond on the job and in the communities we serve.

Deron Evans from our Hardeeville/Bluffton branch was recently recognized for his professionalism and communication. We’ve received multiple compliments from clients about the positive impact that he’s making, and we’re grateful to have him on our team!

And a big shout out to two other team members from the Hardeeville/Bluffton Branch - Allen Graham and Christina Graham for their kindness and compassion in recently helping a community member in need. Their willingness to step in and assist without hesitation reflects the character and care that makes our team truly special.
