Good public spaces start with good collaboration.
At Coligny Circle Pocket Park, Wood+Partners and Ward Edwards worked side by side from day one, bringing Landscape Architecture and Civil Engineering together to transform a 0.29-acre corner of Hilton Head into a more connected, functional place for the community.
The park now features a widened multi-use path, custom shade trellis, new seating and lighting, fresh plantings, and a reimagined stormwater feature, all thoughtfully designed around the existing live oaks.
But just as important as the finished space is the partnership that brought it to life.
“Ward Edwards is a great partner and an invaluable part of the project team. They’re always one step ahead in their thinking, bringing thoughtful solutions to the table and keeping projects moving forward.” — Kyle Theodore, Principal, Wood+Partners
“I enjoyed the collaborative nature of working with Wood+Partners on the Coligny Pocket Park project. I believe our teams worked well together as we were both working on a town project with the common goal to strengthen the local community that we work in, live in, and enjoy each day.” — Alex Ciesielski, Designer Lead, Ward Edwards Engineering
We’re proud of what this partnership makes possible and look forward to what we’ll accomplish together next.
