💧 HOW DEEP SHOULD YOUR WATER LINE BE BURIED? 🤔

It's something most homeowners probably never think about... until there's a problem!

Here in Arkansas, water service lines need to be buried deep enough to help protect them from freezing and damage.

📏 The Arkansas Plumbing Code requires exterior water supply piping to be installed at least 6 inches below the frost line and no less than 12 inches below ground level. Local requirements may call for additional depth.

🔧 At Davis Plumbing & Repairs, our company standard is to install underground water service lines at a depth of 24 inches!

Why does depth matter?

❄️ Helps protect against freezing temperatures.
🚜 Reduces the risk of damage from surface activity.
💧 Helps protect your home's underground water supply.
