Happy Father's Day from all of us at Pathway Design & Construction! πŸ’›

Just like the homes and spaces we build, a father's love is something that stands the test of time. It's the foundation that holds everything together, the structure that gives us strength, and the place we always come back to.

To every dad out there β€” thank you for building something even greater than any structure we could design. You build character, confidence, and a legacy that lasts a lifetime.

Wishing you a day as solid and beautiful as the work you do every day. πŸŽ‰

Happy Juneteenth! πŸ–€β€οΈπŸ’š

Today we celebrate freedom, honor history, and recognize the incredible strength and culture of Black Americans β€” past, present, and future.

Juneteenth is a reminder of how far we've come and the importance of continuing to build a future rooted in equality and opportunity for all.

From our team to yours β€” today and every day, we stand with this community.

Thinking about making your home safer as you age β€” or helping a loved one do the same? This three-part series on the Answers for Elders Radio Show is a must-watch!

🎬 Part 1 β€” DIY or Call a Pro? Learn which home projects are safe to take on yourself and which ones come with hidden risks you may not have considered.

🎬 Part 2 β€” Safe DIY Projects. Discover practical, manageable home improvements that can make a big difference in safety and accessibility β€” and when to know it's time to call in an expert.

Part 5 β€” Main Bathroom & Hallway
Finishing strong with the details that matter most.

Paul wraps the series in the main bathroom and hallway. In the main bath β€” used by guests and the kids' rooms β€” marmoleum flooring pairs with IKEA cabinetry as a smart budget call that keeps quality high. The bathtub was salvaged from another bathroom in the house and brought back to life with all-new tile around it.

Out in the hallway, accessibility is built into the bones: four-foot widths, three-foot doors throughout (broader than typical for an easier wheelchair turn radius), original light fixtures preserved overhead, and the original built-in cabinet kept right where it belongs β€” with doors that swing wide enough to reach the lower shelves from a seated position. We also added an ERV for fresh, filtered air year-round.

That's a wrap on the series β€” thank you for following along! Drop your favorite feature in the comments.

Part 4 β€” Primary Suite

Where universal design and beautiful design meet most clearly.

Part 4 takes you into the fully remodeled primary suite β€” and the bathroom is where it really shines. The shower is fully accessible: a flush-entry pan eliminates trip hazards and keeps cleaning easy, a fixed showerhead and handheld pair give flexibility, and a built-in niche keeps everything within reach. The glass doors can be swapped for a shower curtain if needs ever change, and we installed solid backing inside every wall so grab bars can be added later without disturbing tile. The original tile windowsills stayed.

In the bedroom, three windows now bring in natural light from three different directions β€” including one we discovered framed in behind a wall mid-project. A small biophilic detail with a big daily impact.

Stay tuned β€” one final episode lands next week.

This Memorial Day, we honor the heroes who gave their lives in service to this great country.

Behind every project we complete, every home we build, and every community we serve β€” there are those who sacrificed everything to protect it. Today we stop, reflect, and give thanks.

From our team to the families who carry this loss every day β€” we see you, we honor you, and we are grateful.
