This demo was a blast, but came with some challenges!
I have been worried about certain aspects of this job for at least a month.
Tight access was the main concern.
On one side was a beautiful custom built brick home and on the other was a fragile pavement driveway owned by the Jail Museum in downtown Lawrenceburg. There was no room for error and even less room to get trucks and equipment onsite.
Jake ran the excavator like the pro he is and I did an excellent job supervising and worrying until the house was down!
Then the real work began, cleanup, this is where Jake watched me do all the hand work from the air conditioned cab of the excavator. 😂
We partner with the best dumpster company around AAU Roll Off Dumpsters. They help make our job easy, good friends and great service! Dan and his crew at AAU got their trucks right where we needed them between the teardown and the custom brick home.
Glad we got it down in a million pieces and we all walked away stoked to have completed the job safely and efficiently!
Shoutout to G&S in Lawrenceburg for the chert and topsoil as well!
