Where were we today?

Today we completed our 1st removal for Fall 2026.

We have never launched the barge on this lake before. The water was extremely low but the landing was very nice.

A few weeks ago a client of ours asked for a suggestion from us on someone who could build them some steps. Now this client didn't have more then a few steps going to the lake and that caused me to ask just a few more questions about this request. Turns out that the parents had fallen a few times going down the steps. We provided them with information on a set of stairs/steps but the parents didn't want that kinda money spent on them. Now I couldn't let this go, not because I want the sale, but because I don't want people getting hurt. The end result was simple fairly inexpensive and hopefully no one falls again.

We went out to assess some storm damage. We got it all cleaned up and just in time to get stuck in the storm on the way home. So glad we didn't have to launch the boat. Being stuck on the lake in rain like this is never fun.

A little update on our storm damage.

The first picture is of our customer's lift today. Luckily, they will just need a new canopy and canvas. The canvas loops tore out and the wind took the rest over.

The 2nd was a lift that Mark rescued a few years back. Total loss.

Having your pontoon on your lift can help reduce damage to your lift in some cases. So remember if you remove your pontoon or boat for a length of time, take the canvas off as well.

Where were we today?

I'm a day late on this one because we had a full day scheduled of work and then family date night.

We were on Stump Lake in Rice Lake. While we prioritize annual installs and removals, our skill set doesn't end there. We also install new like these stairs.

Our Itty-Bitty came with us and she loved being my model in the videos and pictures.

Yesterday, after a couple weeks of new installs and repairs, we completed our last scheduled annual spring install. The crew is feeling quite accomplished.

If you still need your dock or lift installed, we will have availability for the next couple of weeks.
