Here is Jessie, admiring some mature Limelight Hydrangeas recently. Yes we have Limelight's in stock, although not quite this large. You have to start somewhere. We have young, fast growing Limelight Hydrangeas for $20 each. Perfect time to get them going to build your own attraction that will flourish in full or partial sun! Be like Jessie, love Limelight Hydrangeas!

Limelight hydrangea (Hydrangea paniculata 'Limelight') is a deciduous shrub prized for its large, cone-shaped flower clusters that start lime green in summer and gradually fade to creamy white, pink, and burgundy by fall.

It is exceptionally hardy, thriving in USDA Zones 3-8, tolerating both cold winters and hot summers.

The plant can be grown as a multi-stemmed shrub or trained into a tree form with a single trunk and leafy crown, making it a striking specimen in borders, containers, or as a focal point.

We will never complain about the rain, but this was a bit unexpected. The Kansas City television weather forecasters claimed we would get somewhere less than an inch of rain overnight. This morning, we find over 3 1/2 inches of liquid gold in our rain gauge. Both Lazy Lake and Sunset Spring water reservoirs are full and overflowing in the first week of August! Have to admit, did not think I would ever see this happening.

Ever been distracted and suffered the consequences of your misplaced focus? The photo below is what happens when we do not do our homework because too many other things are screaming to get done. One of our fields got completely overgrown with w**ds, strangling the trees and stealing precious moisture content from the ground.
It may not seem like much of a problem until you realize that the crew has spent an entire week cleaning up the mess. Really a simple problem to resolve - Roll out the tractors, mowers, w**d eaters, hand shears, spray rigs along with some sore backs and bitchy attitudes and we see a transformation in the subsequent photos. Don't be like John, keep your eye on the ball and stay focused!

From our farm to yours on this fine Sunday morning. We planted 3 each 6-7 foot Eastern White Pines this morning for a customer in Warrensburg. The White Pines will thicken as they get established, blocking the view and the dust from the gravel road out front. They really changed the appearance of the yard. As always, we appreciate the opportunities. Hank appears to be pleased as well.

We just had a customer from Oak Grove purchase the largest Japanese Maple we have ever grown. The beautiful Ukigumo is 1 1/4 caliper and over 7 feet tall. Kinda sad to see this one go as it was our biggest......Guess we have to grow some more now.

Acer palmatum 'Ukigumo', or Floating Clouds Japanese Maple, is a compact, upright Japanese maple with striking white, pink, and green variegated foliage that changes with the seasons.
