I began my career in law enforcement in 2008 at Phelps County Corrections under then-Sheriff Thomas Nutt. After a brief period working in corrections in Texas, I returned to Nebraska and attended the Nebraska Law Enforcement Training Academy in 2010 while serving with Phelps County.

Over the years, I have had the honor of serving the people of Phelps County in various capacities within the Sheriff’s Office. Under the leadership of Sheriff Gene Samuelson, I’ve worked my way through the ranks—from Deputy to Sergeant, and most recently, Chief Deputy.

With over 15 years of dedicated service, a deep understanding of our community’s needs, and a steadfast commitment to public safety, I am proud to announce my candidacy for Sheriff of Phelps County in the 2026 election.

Phelps County is my home. I am passionate about protecting it, improving it, and ensuring that the Sheriff’s Office remains transparent, accountable, and rooted in service. I look forward to connecting with residents across the county in the coming months to hear your concerns and share my vision for the future.

Together, we can continue to build a safer, stronger Phelps County.

If you have a floor drain,sink drain or your main sewer line draining slowly or not at all please give us a call ! We clean drains the correct way and don’t charge an arm and a leg like most other plumbing companies ! We are local to holdrege but are more than happy to drive to surrounding areas and help out. Thanks and have a great rest of your weekend !

It was a hard fought battle but we got our friends over at Double D Cleaners Drain open the other day! Now they can continue to help our community, what a great business!
