When Lamar Schmidt started Holdrege Irrigation with only three employees in 1991, he did everything from sales to ordering parts and making after-hours service calls when producers needed parts. As the company grew, Lamar instilled this spirit of dedication in his employees, teaching them to make customer service a top priority and to always be the partner growers could rely on for support. hilosophy helped Holdrege Irrigation grow, and today, under the direction of Lamar's son, Tim, more than 90 irrigation professionals work across locations in Holdrege, Lexington, Alda, and Ravenna. The company has been recognized nationally by Reinke as one of its top dealers multiple times, with numerous awards including the Top Dealer, Top 5 Dealer, Top Parts Dealer and other awards with recognition regionally and nationally.
