Lily of the valley often means a return to happiness. With the sunshine finally here, it certainly feels that way! This flower has always been my favorite — and it’s even the inspiration behind the Gunner Gardens logo.

And yes… Leo is dressed as Link from the Legend of Zelda. ⚔️ He wears the outfit all day and fully commits to the role.

I hope your Mother’s Day was wonderful! I’m so grateful to be mom to these two lovely, silly, (maybe a little feral), kind-hearted boys. They make me appreciate the little things — like an hour spent weeding in the field while they played pirates on the mud kitchen.

We learn about nature, go on scavenger hunts, make crafts, and enjoy story time together. This class has filled up two years in a row, and it’s truly one of my favorite things we do here at Gunner Gardens 💕🌸🐸🐝

Planning for a new garden you ask? Not quite. Just digging in the snow and pulling up patio stones to find our septic tank. A fun reminder that it doesn’t always smell like flowers here…cue the Christmas Vacation line from Cousin Eddie. (I figured I’d skip the picture of inside the tank🤷‍♀️)
