The investigation is ongoing, but the advice from Holland Department of Public Safety - Fire Services is still important:
- Have working smoke detectors
- Do NOT use extension cords with space heater
- Make sure the circuit powering a space heater is large enough for the load

In general, we recommend a dedicated circuit for a space heater and not merely a normal room outlet.

This morning at 6:16 am Holland firefighters and police officers were dispatched to a fire in a residence in the 600 block of Crescent Drive. The wind calmed down enough to fix the flag at Haveman Electric HQ. This is more proof that our aerial bucket truck can do more than lights, pretty much anything tall.
