A tree released, a boundary drawn, a stand thinned or left standing…the choice doesn’t announce itself. It shows up later, ring by ring.
We’ve spent nearly ten years walking Michigan properties with landowners working through exactly this kind of choice — better whitetail habitat, healthier stands, timber that pays for itself, ground a family still wants in fifty years. None of it is urgent. All of it is permanent.
2027 marks ten years for us, and we’re telling that story one growth ring at a time. This is the first ring: stewardship.
