Two weeks between these two photos ๐คฉ
Bare strip of dirt along the front, now three burgundy cordyline anchoring the middle with low shrubs stepped out either side and gold shell rock over the top.
See that curve on the bed edge? That's the whole trick. A straight line against a straight house reads like a hedge row. One good sweeping curve and the entire front softens up.
Our rule on jobs: fabric and drip line go in before a single plant does. That's why this still looks like this in August instead of crisping out by the driveway.
