That’s a wrap!

We’ve officially closed out another successful industrial repositioning project.

Industrial repositioning and “make-ready” projects have become an important part of our work. We understand that for owners, timing matters. The faster a space can be completed and brought to market, the sooner it can be ready for its next tenant.

Another day, another project milestone.

This morning, our team successfully completed the concrete pour for the third floor of our office building project.

A successful pour takes more than just concrete. Coordinating the pump, trucks, concrete deliveries, manpower, inspections, and overall site logistics requires detailed planning, communication, and scheduling well in advance. Our team works hard behind the scenes to make sure these critical days run safely, efficiently, and as planned.

Great work by our entire internal team, trade partners, and vendors for coming together and getting this milestone across the finish line.

Another floor down and one step closer to completion.

Pour days are great days!

We’ve been battling the rain here in New Jersey, but the weather has been cooperating at our self-storage project in Massachusetts, giving the team another great opportunity to keep things moving.

Another slab pour is in the books, bringing us one step closer to the next major milestone: going vertical. Every pour represents another step forward and keeps the project moving toward the next phase of construction.

We’re proud of the work our team and trade partners are putting in to keep the project on schedule and moving forward, regardless of what the weather has in store.

We wrapped up the summer with a great night at the Somerset Patriots game!

At 3D Group, bringing families together is important to us. Our team works hard throughout the year, and we believe it’s just as important to take time to step away from the jobsite, enjoy some time together, and celebrate the people who make our company what it is.

Our end-of-summer party was a great opportunity to get the team and their families together, enjoy a night of baseball, and strengthen the culture we’re proud to have built at 3D Group.

Thank you to our entire team and their families for being part of the 3D Group family. Here’s to a great summer and an even better year ahead!

Today marks the anniversary of Mike Hussa.

Mike is a superintendent and has been with 3D Group for 3 years. During that time, Mike has overseen multiple types of projects, from self-storage to daycare to, most notably, our current Micro Co-warehousing project. Mike's constant focus on on-time finishes has allowed him to bring every project to the finish line on time.

Thank you, Mike, for your hard work. We know when you are on a job, that job is in good hands!

Another self-storage project is officially complete!
3D Group is proud to have completed this three-story self-storage addition for Corporate Extra Space in Toms River NJ. The project adds approximately 39,050 of new storage space and units, including 315 drive-up units.

As a repeat client, Corporate Extra Space has trusted our team to deliver multiple projects, and we appreciate the opportunity to continue building on that relationship.
This project included new earthwork and porous pavement, which made securing construction very difficult, but our planning and coordination with trades made it seamless. The three-story addition enabled the property to increase storage capacity while providing convenient drive-up access for customers.

Projects like this are a great example of where our experience in self-storage construction adds value. From pre-construction and budgeting through construction and turnover, our team understands the unique requirements of developing and expanding self-storage facilities.

We appreciate Corporate Extra Space for the continued partnership and everyone who helped bring this project across the finish line.

Another successful industrial “Make Ready” project completed by the 3D Group team.

Located in North Jersey, this project involved repositioning an existing office and warehouse facility to better serve the needs of the future tenant. By reducing the existing office footprint, we were able to create additional valuable warehouse space while maximizing the functionality of the property.

Industrial and IOS repositioning, along with “Make Ready” work, has become an increasingly important part of our business. We’ve seen significant growth in this type of work over the past several years, and our team has developed the experience and processes necessary to execute these projects efficiently.

Whether an owner has an established program and standards that need to be followed, or needs help developing a repeatable approach to move projects from acquisition to occupancy faster, 3D Group can help.

While we were out “site seeing” today, we stopped by our co-warehousing project in South Jersey.

Co-warehousing isn’t necessarily a new concept, but it continues to gain momentum in the industrial sector—and for good reason.

These micro-warehousing spaces give small and growing businesses a flexible alternative to traditional warehouse space. Tenants get their own private warehouse space, while still having access to many of the amenities typically found in a larger facility, including loading docks, office space, breakrooms, and a variety of unit sizes to accommodate future growth.

We should start seeing the unit walls going up over the next few weeks. From there, it’s on to the finish line!

Another project is taking shape, and we’re looking forward to seeing it come together.

Phase 2 is nearing completion on our self-storage project in South Jersey!

Single-story self-storage buildings can move quickly, and this project has been no exception. We are putting the finishing touches on the second phase while preparing to begin the site work for Phase 3.

This project is being constructed in three phases, allowing the ownership team to continue moving the development forward while construction progresses.

One of the things we enjoy most about our business is seeing where relationships can begin. This project started with a cold call, which ultimately led to the opportunity to work with the ownership team and become part of the development. It is a great reminder that sometimes a simple introduction can lead to a successful long-term relationship.

We are looking forward to completing Phase 2 and getting started on the next phase of the project. Stay tuned for final pictures!
