Moore Trosper Construction Company was proud to support the 2nd Battalion, 5th Special Forces Group (Airborne) during Northern Strike, one of the U.S. Department of War's largest joint reserve readiness exercises, which brought thousands of service members to Michigan.

Our team provided lodging, secure operational facilities, and acreage where Green Beret teams carried out critical warfighting and readiness training.

After the exercise, battalion leadership presented Moore Trosper with an official Certificate of Appreciation and a 5th Special Forces Group challenge coin. In Special Operations culture, presenting a unit coin is a meaningful tradition that stands for trust, a shared mission and brotherhood.

We are humbled to support the elite men and women who put their lives on the line for our freedom. Protecting our nation takes readiness, and standing behind our Armed Forces is the highest honor we could ask for.

From our offices in Holt and Sault Ste. Marie, we're proud to serve communities across Lower Michigan and the Upper Peninsula, and we're especially proud to stand behind those who serve our country.

It's with a heavy heart that we share the passing of Jerry Carter, who left us this past Friday.

Jerry served for many years as an Estimator and Project Manager at MTCC, where he was a dedicated and respected part of the Moore Trosper family. Jerry will be remembered by all who worked alongside him for his tireless work ethic, attention to detail and kind spirit. Our prayers are with his family, friends, and everyone whose life he touched during this difficult time. May they find comfort in the memories of his bright smile and the countless ways he made our lives richer.

Rest in peace, Jerry. Your memory will be a blessing to us all.
