I’ve never done much advertising that I’ve been working on domestic well pumps and water systems since I was a propane truck driver for Petree propane back in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Obtaining water and maintaining one’s system is as much electricity as it is plumbing, so service of water wells is a natural fit for me.
In 2013, I purchased a pump truck, a good portion of the inventory and other equipment from Strader Drilling when they closed operations. Through word-of-mouth, I’ve been servicing and installing pumps, pipe, pitless adapters, pressure tanks, pressure switches, control boxes, and the like for many people. I am also a certified small systems water operator with the KDHE.
With the advent of a full-time young apprentice, Rome Seltmann, I’ve decided to officially announce this expansion of services offered by McManigal Electric. In working closely with the KDHE and Kansas Rural Water Association (KRWA), I’ve learned much about the importance of quality drinking water. I’m working on a plan to introduce a private water source maintenance program, as I see many home and farm issues could be preventable.
Feel free to call or comment with any thoughts or suggestions on this. I keep a good supply of pumps and parts on hand now and will be adding more for the future. This doesn’t shift our focus from electrical construction or service. It just adds to the same quality parts and service already available from McManigal Electric.
