This week we wrapped up on this colossal deck that had been rotting and was in need of a refresh. We were able to reuse most of the original framework, but we reinforced it with a proper support beam running the full length of the deck. On the back side of the home, we replaced the old deck with a new walkway that now connects seamlessly to the back door. To finish the project, we installed rough-cut cedar fascia along the front of the deck at the homeowner’s request, perfectly complementing the home’s beautiful cedar siding.
