It was an honor and great experience to be able to speak at 1 Million Cups Dubuque last week on Earth Day. I was thrilled the crowd was so intrigued to learn how native plants are beneficial for the environment and their home landscape. The questions I received were wonderful.

It was an absolute beautiful day for an Earth Day clean up and Arbor Day tree planting. We were so grateful to have the Pack 5 Cub Scouts and other volunteers show up to help us with our clean up of the newly renovated Bankston Park and planting of two Swamp White Oak trees. The kids were excited to help and had no hesitation to get their hands dirty. Huge thank you to everyone who showed up.
