Had the incredible opportunity to spend the summer in Halibut Cove with a couple friends building a not-so-tiny house for ! Here are some pics of the build- our job was to go from the ground up and get the place dried in- framing, deck, house wrap, windows/doors and roof on. It was a roller coaster ride for sure, the weather generally cooperated, probably one of the most unique and beautiful job sites I’ve ever worked on. Thank you for hiring the TH crew to get this done. Thanks Andrew for sticking in there til the end. Thanks and for the occasional material and/or puppy drop off! And everyone else who helped along the way, Zach, Dan, Brad, , And of course huge thanks to for holding it down at the shop while I was gone! 📸Danny

Fall equinox- a time for change; seasons, light, temperature, colors, mood. Feeling a little bittersweet as we transition from shop to shop, this will likely be the last tiny house to roll out of our location on Kachemak Drive. Happy New Year from TH! 2022 was a challenging yet monumental year, with big dreams starting to become reality up here on Ohlson Mtn. From the ground up, the shop project was definitely an exercise in persistence… and in the power of positive thinking. A huge thank you to EVERYONE who helped out along the way, feeling so grateful to live in a community that supports art, craftsmanship, the construction trades, small businesses, the local food movement, sustainable fisheries, and protecting our environment.
