Today marks 20 years since Mr Fred as he was known to many, Daddy and Granddaddy to others left His earthly home for His eternal home in Heaven. He was a friend to all and never met a stranger. The impact He made on His family, friends and community will carry on for years.
Wish I could sit at the Linder coffee table and have one more cup with Him.

This building will probably always be know as the Fred Smith & Sons feed store. It now has a new sign out front. Blessings. Blessings is a non profit organization that Carol Smith started. It has served Claiborne Parish for the past few years and has helped many people along the way. I think Fred & Mary Smith would be pleased with the way the building is being used to help those in need.

This sign was attached to Fred Smith & Sons building in 1982. Going to retire it to my shop building for fond memories.

While working on the old feed store building today found this signature inside of a wall.
Fred W Smith 8-9-81. This was about 2 months before we moved our operation to this building.
