A few reminders as we are in sight of some artic air, the days ahead:
*make sure that all water hoses are disconnected at exterior faucets, install frost proof faucet covers on all exterior faucets, or wrap them with pipe insulation
*frost proof faucets disconnect water hoses
*leave hot water and cold water almost running in a steady stream in your bathroom lavatories
(Hot water freezes faster than cold)
*if you find that a pipe is frozen, use a hair dryer or portable heater to help with unthawing.
*locate your water shut off to your home
*locate your water meter
*if you do have a frozen pipe, leave a faucet open so it has some where to go when it thaws
*open all cabinet doors that pertain to plumbing
Lastly, please be patient with the plumber, as you will not be the only customer with problems. Thank you to all who support us. Call Homer Plumbing Repair, LLC. If we can help! Stay warm.
