I havnt posted on this page since I started Marlyn Pools in 2022. Mostly because I grew my business so fast that I exceeded expectations, and went further than I thought possible. A little over 3 years later I’m still successful and still so very grateful for the ability to keep doing what I truly love. My customers are my friends, I have served them faithfully over the years and will continue to do so (God Willing) for many years to come.
I’m proof that the Great American dream can be achieved, and does exist.
As long as you put in the hours and keep improving your skills you will Keep your customer base and, provide a great value for money service.

A new customer of mine started having issues with his pump (noisy, and overheating) it’s only 2 years old and in great condition so I dug deeper. His pool water was barely moving and so I backwashed his filter (hardly anything came out) just cleanish water?
That’s when I knew his DE filter was completely clogged and needed cleaning.
I’ve seen a few bad filters but nothing like this!
There was so my dirt and DE in the housing that I had to dig it out with my hands, it took the two of us to eventually lift it out and then it took almost an hour to clean with a power hose.
The filter housing had so much dirt and debris in the bottom that it had to be washed and rinsed about 10 times. This filter was barely running at 1/3 of its capacity “no wonder the pump is overheating”

Once I put it all back together the pump stopped making a noise and the flow of the water was super fast, it was the best his ever seen. It went from barely any movement on the surface to the jets making the pool look like a hot tub.

His old company told him that it had been cleaned ? I guess they lied 🤥

If you’re a pool professional, always think outside the box and never take for granted that someone else’s work is is 100% as they say it is.

If you have poor water flow and your pumps struggling, have your pool company clean the cartridge filter. It will make your pool spring to life.

My customers, are always complimentary about their pools. I hear every week that their pools have never looked better and that I’m able to provide them with a service that exceeded expectations. “This makes me happy”

A good friend who owns a local pool company asked me how I became so successful in such a short space of time. “ This is what I told him”

#1. I designed a professional business brand, I set my goals and then built my company culture around the service that I wanted to provide.

#2. I leaned everything I possibly could to provide my customers with a Crystal Clear Pool, and built a bond of respect so that they can 100% trust me to look after them.

#3. I am passionate about my work. I love what I do each and every day and I’m happy when I walk on site and the reflection of my hard work smiles back at me.

Wow!! In 5 months my customer base has grown to 60 and with the new logo on my truck I feel like I’ve come a long way. The new logo fills me with immense joy, it symbolizes how far I’ve come in such a short time. (MarLyn Pools) stands for reliability, honesty and great service. My goal is to provide the best Pool Service in the industry; according to my customer feedback I’ve achieved that.

Without the Lord guiding my every move I doubt I could have grown this fast and become so successful 🙏 I count my blessings each and every day.

I took over a pool this week from a pool company out of Inverness fl and the pool was green? Literally zero chlorine and dirt on the floor of the pool. I turned this around in two days and my customer sent me this picture this morning with a thank you note. He’s glad he switched to Marlyn Pools and he’s never seen his pool look this healthy and clear in months.
