Sometimes we wonder why, just why. If you have a tech doing things like this, tell them to go home and call us before it costs you more time and money. Get it done right the first time. (And to the person from Brandon Fl that's doing things like this, What were you thinking? Please go get some training or give your customer's our phone number 813-667-2003 so we can do it right the first time or fix your install)
